Spark Social - Welcomes Guest Speaker Stephen Whitton: Radio Presenter

Spark Social is a free social networking event that takes place on the third Thursday of each month at Allia Future Business Centre. It's for anyone who is thinking of starting a business or for anyone who is running a company less than 3 years old. So if you are an enterprising entrepreneur, innovator, founder, problem-solver, startup, someone with an idea (or a partially-formed one!) do come along!

The aim of Spark Social is to help form a collaborative network of enterprising people in Peterborough with a view to helping more people create successful startups and growing, scalable, businesses.

Spark Social is completely free so do stop by for a beer, glass of wine or juice as well as a selection of nibbles.

I am very pleased to welcome guest speaker Stephen Whitton; a Radio Presenter, MC and Conference Speaker as well as a Trainer and Coach.

Stephen says, having spent many years working within blue-chip PLCs in large house-hold name and companies, he found radio and realised his life's purpose was to create connections. Through this he realised that people's main worse enemy was mainly themselves and their negative self-talk (I'm not good enough, I'll sound stupid, they will think I'm daft etc) and so, set off on a mission through his regular radio shows, conferences, training and speaking sessions to help people with strategies and actions to unlock these hidden commitments and create new more customer friendly, life enhancing ones!

Communication is at the heart of all businesses, as well as our everyday lives and interactions as a species - yet so many people fear selling, interviews, social networking, promoting themselves their business or the dreaded public speaking.

In an enlightening and entertaining short talk, Stephen will share his insights from his work as a local radio presenter, speaker and trainer on how much of the problems with communication come from the internal dialogue we all have and the limiting self-beliefs that it can create.

Through a very passionate, lively and engaging approach, you'll leave feeling the talk was just for you and be tuned in for more!

To find us: Enter the Peterborough United Football Ground site and you will see signs to the Allia Future Business Centre at the back of the site. There is plenty of free parking outside the building and the football club.
