This group is for anyone interested in photography. All abilities are welcome and any quality of camera is fine. You can use a phone camera if you want. We will be doing free photo walks around Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. We will also be organizing workshops taught by Aaron Raymond, a Lindblad and National Geographic photo instructor.
This is a 2-day workshop that will explore the photographic possibilities of the streams and waterfalls in Ohiopyle State Park.
On day one, we will meet at my photo studio in Pittsburgh where I will teach a session on photo exposure and composition. Then, we will drive to Ohiopyle State Park and photograph streams and waterfalls until the end of the day.
I’ll be having dinner in Ohiopyle and stay at a hotel. All participants are welcome to join me, but food and hotel are not included.
On day two, we will set out at sunrise and photograph along the water for most of the morning. Then, we will return to my studio. The workshop will conclude with a practical tutorial on editing and Lightroom using images shot by workshop participants.
Dates: May 14-15, 2022 Discounted price: $425 Through PayPal or Venmo (regular $495) Limit 10 participants
Note: The workshop will still happen if there is a little rough weather as inclement weather often produces the most striking images. However, if it is a serious storm, the workshop will be rescheduled.
