Let's talk health! Chatbots and Voice in the Pharma Marketing Mix

Got an Alexa for Christmas? You weren't alone. Voice is big for 2019 - and that includes healthcare. Gartner report that by 2020, 30% of browser sessions won't even involve a screen. So what can our industry learn from voice, chat and dialogue?

Join us for drinks, food and networking with two presentations and a panel discussion from cutting edge experts.

18.00 - Networking/drinks/food

18.45 - Welcome

19.00 - Presentation: "Our first patient chatbot": a view from Norgine - Kym Jacks-Bryant, Global Digital Marketing Lead at Norgine and PM Awards Digital Partner of the Year 2018

In 2018 Norgine designed, implemented and launched a chatbot for UK patients taking a bowel preparation prior to colonoscopy. In this talk Kym will share the challenges, learnings and most importantly the impact this project has had on patients and how digital is viewed at Norgine.

19.30 - Presentation: "The Opportunity And Enormity Of Voice Search" Charlie Cadbury, CEO of Say It Now, a Voice and Chatbots specialist developer leveraging their enterprise Natural Language Processing expertise.

Voice today is in a similar position to mobile in 2007. At that time, people knew that the future was mobile but only the brave seized the opportunity to fly past the competition. The voice opportunity is even more pronounced: there is only one response to a voice search and the mechanics of the experience is deeply nuanced. Charlie will explain the landscape and discuss the strategies and tactics you can employ to take those first important steps; alongside examples of best practice in the health sector.
