J & David will be Hosting. David [masked]) will be there around 4pm with a meet-up sign. If you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to message J or David directly or leave a message in the group. Looking forward to seeing you all!
We will meet at the basketball court at 1100 south front street. I will have atleast two balls, one extra for practice shooting. The main event will be team games up to 3on3, one point per shot. Nobody attending is a professional player who is the golden standard of street ball so all levels of skill are welcome. Look for Imil, Eric or Drew on the court.
Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. Be it a book, coding script, essay, science journal paper, dissertation, resume, blog, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
2:00 - Quick introductions
2:15 - Timer starts: write for 45 min
3:00 - Chat and relax
3:15 - Timer starts: write for 45 min
4: 00 - The End: chat, take off, or keep writing
OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 4:00 in downtown Media. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.
BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. (I’ll be the person with the Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
Happy writing and I look forward to seeing you at Starbucks @ Media Shopping Center!

"Monday Board Games Night is the most fun you can have in Philly on a Monday"
location: The Bourse
time: 5pm - 8pm
If you haven't yet joined us at The Bourse, its a gorgeous & spacious Food Hall with lots of room, long tables, and a variety of food & drink vendors to choose from. Ideal for our group! We have usually been averaging about 50+ attendees playing a wide & always changing array of board games & card games.
There is no fee and we'll be bringing our own board games. If you own lots of board games, feel free to bring a few of the ones that you don't mind teaching. And if you don't own any but still want to have fun, than just bring yourself.
I'll be adding details in the Comments and please feel free to also comment or ask questions. Additionally, you are welcome to mention which games you plan to bring in the comments as well.
Can't wait, see you there!
