What we're about

We welcome you to join the Philadelphia Buddhist Association for its monthly lecture and discussion series on various topics related to Buddhism and meditation. Many of the speakers are teachers of Buddhism from the surrounding area and have offered to share their valuable insights with us in a friendly, informal, and engaging setting. Please join us for our next lecture on Sunday, September 9th at 7:30pm. This month's topic will be "Starting and Maintaining a Meditation Practice". If you are new to meditation, or would like a refresher, this will be a great opportunity to come learn and talk about the benefits of a regular meditation practice. No prior Buddhist knowledge or experience is necessary and members of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome to attend. As with all activities hosted by the Philadelphia Buddhist Association, there is no fee to attend, but good will donations to support the organization are always appreciated. We look forward to meeting you for what will be a wonderful lecture and discussion.
