The Astronaut’s Window: A Poetic and Musical Tribute to Black Scientists and Politicians

This season marks our third year celebrating the achievements of the African American community by presenting original musical works by Dr. Cynthia Cozette Lee and Dr. Hazel Anne Lee. For this year’s performance, we invite audience to turn their attention to Black leaders in science and politics.

For the amateur Civil War historians out there, come to enjoy a Q & A session with United States Colored Troop Civil War Reenactors who will be present to celebrate Juneteenth - the end of chattel slavery celebrated on June 19, 1865.
