What we're about

This is a group for gay men who get together a few times a month for low to moderate intensity hikes on the many trails in or near the city. While nominally this group is for gay men over 40, this expresses emphasis, not restriction. Any man that thinks he would enjoy this group is welcome. Emphasis is on spaces that are quickly and affordably accessible — including to those without cars. Past hikes have included the John Heinz Nature Preserve, Wissahickon, The Perkiomen Trail and the hills of Valley Forge. We also do the occasional urban hike.

Our walks are generally between 5 and 7 miles and take between 2 and 3 hours. We usually meet on Sundays. There is no charge to attend any of our hikes unless otherwise indicated in the event description. Participants should feel confident in their fitness for long walks. Well-behaved dogs are exceptionally welcome except where prohibited by park policy. Make sure you bring plenty of water for your pooch.

We hope you’ll decide to join us.
