Quantum Computing (#2 of 3: Quantum Software) [Quantumapalooza 2020 Series]

Details

Content level: 100 Introductory
This event is a part of Quantumapalooza 2020 series; See http://2020.quantumapalooza.com/

This training session is the second of a three-part series designed for those who are learning the basics of quantum computing. Participants attending this session are encouraged to also register for the May 18 and May 23 sessions.

Instructor: Bruno Fedrici, PhD, (Consultant, Lecturer - Quantum Technologies)

This Series: This event series will provide opportunities for students, entrepreneurs and investors to understand core concepts of quantum computers, expected near/mid-term impacts on industries such as pharmacology, financial services and cyber security, as well as the development of the fast growing quantum industry.

Session 2: Quantum software
In this second session we will present Qiskit, an open-source framework for working with quantum computers at the level of circuits, pulses, and algorithms. Participants will be given the chance to code their first quantum algorithm.

Instructor: Bruno Fedrici, PhD, (Consultant, Lecturer - Quantum Technologies) Phd in quantum information science with a university certificate in digital transformation, Bruno Fedrici actively contributes to the public and business awareness of science and quantum technologies by providing a bridge between higher education, research and industry. For the last two years Bruno has been introducing quantum computing basics and quantum-safe security solutions to the executives and the technical leaders as well as to the computer science and engineering students.

These "Meetup-Lite" events are Free and are online-only {connect & password information will be emailed to registered participants ~30 minutes prior to meeting}
