What we're about

This is a Black Wellness group for men and women who continually face internalized racism due to current hostile environments and years of oppression. This group offers a safe space for healing, restoration and group connection. Not to mention fun activities and life hacks for a heightened sense of wellness, an empowered sense of justice, and a refreshing sense of joy.

We offer creative arts therapy events, movement focused therapy events, seminars & trainings, forums, parties, and pop-up events. But what it's really about is connection, networking, friendship, experiencing our culture and increasing our wellness factor.

Looking forward to meeting up with you!

IMPORTANT: OUR PROMISES TO EACH OTHER

To Join Us: You must have a CURRENT HEAD SHOT, aka SELFIE/FACE VISIBLE profile picture of YOURSELF. Submissions with no pictures, pictures of an animal, an object, background scenery, darkened sunglasses, obscuring filters, or photo where your face isn't completely or clearly visible will not be approved. There are no exceptions to this requirement.

No Show Policy: If you RSVP’d YES to an event, please honor that YES by your commitment to show up. If you are unable to make it to a scheduled event, thus keeping you from joining us, please be considerate to your event host and fellow members by updating your RSVP at least 1 day before the event is scheduled to start.

DISCLAIMERS - ZERO TOLERANCE – Wellness, Justice & Joy is 100% committed to harmonious Healing Experiences based on Universal Principles while gathered. We are positive, supportive, kind, respectful of others, and willing to listen to one another. We want to share ideas and ask questions however; agitators and disruptors will not be tolerated. Anyone who exhibits these qualities will be removed from the group, without hesitation.

When we gather, we do so to network, to laugh, to unwind, to build, uplift and set a foundation for new friendships. If this sounds like your kind of party, we look forward to having you in Wellness, Justice & Joy.
