This is a meetup group for like minded individuals to discuses life, spirituality, religion, culture, and tradition.
Tradition is the tangible inheritance of society through generations. It is the organic growth of culture; a living thing which must be cultivated and made anew in every generation's soul. But it is also the dead; an inheritance of wood and stone.
G.K. Chesterton wrote: “Tradition means giving votes to the most obscure of all classes, our ancestors. It is the democracy of the dead. Tradition refuses to submit to the small and arrogant oligarchy of those who merely happen to be walking about.”
Tradition is the structures of society; it is also the unseen force bringing coherence to our lives. It is the means by which we everyday live without reinventing every wheel or machine, and every food or social convention.
