Re: [art-216] Been absent for a while

Hi Everyone-

I have not had a chance to make it to any of the meet ups yet, but did want to suggest something for this weekend. It's Savor New Hope, a whole weekend of art events ending with a great dinner for $40/person (in advance). Chefs from many of the area restaurants turn out to cook for us and it includes wine, beer and beverages and free parking for the dinner.

I'll attach the menu and schedule and if anyone has any questions let me know. Or if you need tickets! Presale ends Thursday.

All of this benefits New Hope Arts and the building of a new arts center in New Hope.

thanks!

Donna

Hello group,

I haven't been around in a long time, sorry about that. For the newer members, the truth is that I haven't organized anything in quite some time. It seemed that only a select few members were willing to participate in any events and while that was fine with me, I hit a dead end coming up with ideas and we ended up meeting for First Friday walks every month. This is great for the warmer months but it can be a bit chilly the rest of the year (I don't even know if they happen in the winter). Consequently, I lost some of the enthusiasm I had when I created the group and sort of drifted away.

I haven't come back with any great new plans or ideas, I just felt guilty for my absence and felt I should explain why this group seems so inactive to the newer members. I am open to any and all suggestions, however. If there is anything you want to do and feel some other members might share an interest, drop me a line or feel free to send a group email.

Have to run and close the windows before the this unexpected rain soaks everything!

Take care,

Bob
