It’s a (digital)-age old story...When designing and building a website, too often companies deprioritize content. So it's no surprise that a top reason why site launches are delayed is because content is not ready.

What does it look like for content to go from an afterthought to a requirement? And, what happens during a website migration when developers, designers, and content strategists collaborate effectively?

We'll examine these questions through two very different content migrations. First, a regional utility company, redesigning their digital experience - who course-corrected the project by bringing in content support mid-process. Second, a global roofing company, uniting 300+ microsites in 36 countries, who prioritized content up front.

You’ll walk away with a foundational approach to content migration and tips for setting expectations with stakeholders and collaborators.

Speaker Bio:

Dani Solomon is a Content Strategist. She is a systems thinker, people connector, and fierce prioritizer.

As a consultant at EPAM, she constantly advocated for content makers and users. She helped clients achieve their digital content dreams by setting them up with sustainable content strategies. She’s transformed a variety of content pumpkins including: governance, SEO, siloes, migrations, redesigns, re-platforms, re-orgs, resistance, and products starting from zero. Now she’s tackling app-ier content challenges as a Content Strategist at Facebook.

If she’s not answering your calls, it’s probably because she’s lost on a bike path or shoulder-deep in a tomato patch.
