12 Month Maker Challenge

Happy New Year Philly Makers!

This year I am challenging myself (and all of you) to complete one project per month. I usually hate New Year’s resolutions; however I think this is one worth keeping.

Last year it was easy to convince myself that I had too many things to do, and that time spent creating was just time better spent elsewhere. But I love getting ideas out of my head into the real world and would like to make a habit of it. No one can enjoy them otherwise.

How to be involved in this challenge:

Post your project to the 12 Month Maker Challenge Forum (https://www.meetup.com/Philly-Makers/messages/boards/forum/23422451) by the last day of each month. I will be sending out reminders and progress pictures throughout the month to keep everyone on track!

Come to the quarterly meetups to share your projects and ideas.

We will meet on Tuesday February 7th from 6 - 8 pm at NextFab to share ideas for projects for the upcoming year, after all the less thrilling new year's resolutions die out. I’ll be bringing my list along with some inspiration pictures and I encourage you to do the same.
