Windows Terminal is the new command line feature in Windows 10. It has tabs, panes, a new more readable font, faster rendering, custom themes, and multiple shells. It supports legacy command line, PowerShell, and WSL.
WSL is the Windows Subsytem for Linux, a full GNU/Linux environment that runs directly on Windows without a virtual machine. Run common commands, Bash shell scripts, Linux packages, and ELF64 binaries.
PowerShell 7 is the first cross platform version of the popular automation tool. It includes a command line shell, object-oriented scripting, script/cmdlet management, and module extensions. pShell 7 runs on top of .NET Core 3.1.
