Scott is the Director of the EC2 Capacity Lifecycle team at Amazon AWS. The EC2 Capacity Lifecycle team makes the cloud appear infinitely elastic and instantly scalable through forecasting, ordering, deploying and balancing capacity according to customer demands.

Prior to Amazon, Scott was CTO of Whitepages, a top-40 website and online identity company. Scott was responsible for all of the engineering at Whitepages, including mobile apps, data, web, search and operations. A satisfied AWS customer, Scott created a hybrid cloud solution at Whitepages, bursting out to AWS when compute resources at the local datacenter got too busy. He graduated from MIT with a B.S. and M.S. In Computer Science.
