Not your typical "women in tech" event, but PNTM is focusing on data and analytics and presentations by women who design, build and use it. (This event features women speakers, but we encourage attendance by any and all genders!)

Demo - Maria Scharin, neo4j, with Karin Wolok
Maria is part of Neo Technology’s Engineering team based in Malmö. She holds an MSc in Engineering from Lund University, and has an extensive technical background as a developer, Oracle DBA and IT project manager. Her passion lies with communication and beautiful language. She gets a kick out of explaining complicated things in a simple way, which is the perfect match for making Neo4j accessible for all sorts of audiences. Maria is married and has two kids. In her free time, she enjoys long-distance running and yoga, reading, and spending time with her family.
Catherine Cook Connelly, The Meet Group
Catherine is VP of Brand Strategy at The Meet Group (NASDAQ: MEET) and co-founded MeetMe (originally myYearbook) with her brothers when she was fifteen. MeetMe merged with a public company in 2011, and in 2016 acquired Skout and if(we) to become The Meet Group. The Meet Group is a fast-growing portfolio of mobile apps with over 2.5 million mobile daily active users. Alexandra is a Data Analyst at Etsy where she focuses on marketing analytics, specifically to drive SEO insights and more generally to optimize audience segmentations, attribution models, and testing through statistical, analytical, and engineering rigor. She previously worked at Visualizing.org — an online data visualization platform and Seed Scientific — a data consultancy. Etsy is a global creative commerce platform. They build markets, services and economic opportunity for creative entrepreneurs. Within their markets, millions of people around the world connect, both online and offline, to make, sell and buy unique goods.
Karen Stine - Radian Group
Karen Stine is VP of Enterprise Information Management and is responsible for all development aspects of the data warehouse and reporting solution through the management of a cross-functional team and strong vendor relationships. Through Ms. Stine’s direction, all areas of the business are supported including Underwriting, Claims, Reserving, Operations, Finance, and the Executive team. In addition, Ms. Stine leads the data governance initiative to ensure a common language is spoken by the enterprise.
Her 15+ years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing and data analytics, along with her experience with multiple insurance carriers, has positioned her well for leading these initiatives. Prior to joining Radian Group, Ms. Stine was the VP of Data and Business Intelligence, leading the design of the new data warehouse along with the roadmap for its implementation and the implementation of a new BI tool. She was also the Director of Business Intelligence at Vertex, a tax technology company, where she initiated the business intelligence solution that provided a mechanism for their clients to perform better tax planning.
Karin Wolok - neo4j
Karin Wolok has worked for some of the most-renowned individuals and companies in the world, launched a successful professional women’s network in two major cities in the U.S., and developed a consumer concert experience program for the largest global entertainment company. Transcending her career from entertainment to technology, she became the first hire for a venture-backed start-up company in Philadelphia, where she went from working “rap battles to robot battles.” She found her passion in working with software engineers and programmers. Within less than a 2-year with the company, she became a notable leader in community development within the tech space in Philadelphia.
Moderator, Darla Wolfe - SAP, MilkCrate, Sweat EquitE
Darla Wolfe is a business leader who loves using her background in both tech and business development to help large and small companies achieve their P&L goals. She has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, manufacturing and entrepreneurship and during her career, she has held senior level roles at top Fortune 500 companies including DuPont and SAP America. She is the founder of Sweat EquitE, LLC, a service company that matches experienced professionals to opportunities at start-ups and non-profits and is also the CTO of Philadelphia-based sustainability startup MilkCrate.
