The Robot Operating System (ROS) is a flexible framework for writing robot software. It is a collection of tools, libraries, and conventions that aim to simplify the task of creating complex and robust robot behavior across a wide variety of robotic platforms.
We are the Philadelphia ROS User's Group -- Philly ROS. Our goal is to bring together the nascent Philadelphia Robotics community for both learning and socializing. We will be hosting a series of meetups and other social events focusing on ROS and other areas of interest to the broader robotics community in Philadelphia. Professionals, students, and hobbyists are all welcome.
