Event Title: "20 Years Since 9/11" with Claus Larsen & Steen Svanholm

You don't need a Twitch account to watch the talk only if you want to take part in the chat. You won't need an account to ask questions in the Q&A period though.

Event Description:
Claus Larsen and Steen Svanholm, internationally renowned experts on 9/11 facts and myths, describe how the terror attack was planned and carried out by the terror organization al Qaeda, and what the catastrophe meant for the time following. Claus lived in New York City at the time, and shares his personal experience.

Claus and Steen will also talk about the most common conspiracy theories that are still propagated about the terror attack on September 11th 2001.

This will be an online event with opportunity for participants to send in written questions during the presentation, which will be answered in the Q&A afterwards. Instructions for how to do this will be given when the events starts.

About the Speakers:

• Claus Larsen & Steen Svanholm are members of Skeptica, a skeptic group in Denmark, who are best known as the creators of the website 911facts.dk, which investigates some of the most popular conspiracy theories and who are promoting them, based on a rational, skeptical and scientific point of view. Claus is also the editor of Skeptic Report, an online magazine for skepticism and critical thinking. The pair appeared as guest speakers at CSICon 2018 and presented a paper entitled "The Harrit Syndrome: A New Explanation of Why and How People Become Evangelical Conspiracy Theorists".

About the Event Host:
"Vetenskap och Folkbildning" (Swedish: Science and Popular Enlightenment) or The Swedish Skeptics' Association, abbreviated as VoF, is a Swedish skeptics' association. It was founded in 1982 with the purpose to raise the general public's awareness of scientific methods and results. The association publishes the quarterly journal Folkvett and organizes lectures on themes related to science and pseudoscience.
