Do you make games or do anything related to the creation of games? Ever wanted to make a game of your own? Join Philly Game Mechanics, a community group for game developers in Philly! We talk games, play games, make games, collaborate, and share. Playtest Night is a creative time for creative people in a creative space. Programmers, artists, designers, writers, students, hobbyists, full-time devs, and enthusiasts are all welcome!
Our flagship event is playtest night, which takes place on the first Thursday of each month at Indy Hall in Northern Liberties. It's a low stakes, casual event for people of all skill levels--including fans!
PGM also hosts game jams, hikes, coffee meetups, potlucks, and more! We amplify local studios and developers in service of making Philly a gaming city. Join us!

In addition to being a PGM organizer, RJ is a 20-year games industry veteran with a lot of experience as an applicant as well as a hiring manager for both indie and AAA companies.
