time: 6pm - 10pm ..... cost: FREE to attend

Starting Monday February 12th, we'll be moving our Board Games Night to Glory Beer Bar and you can arrive early for Happy Hour! The entire evening will run from 6pm to 10pm, starting with Happy Hour which runs until 6:30pm. We will be setting up on the 2nd Floor, a large space with big tables and our own bar where we can order food & drinks!

Glory Beer Bar & Kitchen (126 Chestnut Street)
Ideally located in Old City on Chestnut Street between Front & 2nd Streets, Glory feels both old & new. The exposed brick walls harken to Philly's colonial past, while their selection of many beers, wines, and food are a perfect fit for today's tastes. The affordable menu welcomes all palates, including a number of vegetarian and vegan options! And the tables on the second floor look large enough for both food & board gaming at the same time.

Glory Beer Bar & Kitchen has a revolving menu of 36 beers on tap featuring a variety of American and Local Breweries while also offering a wide array of International and Seasonal favorites. In addition to the extensive beer offerings, Glory has a dedicated tap system to red, white and rosé wine. Additionally, skilled bartenders can create a cocktail of your choosing using the finest spirits and freshest ingredients.

I'm seeing these Mondays as the perfect way to start the week -- beers or dinner with friends, plus chill and enjoy board games, maybe meeting some new friends! Kinda what MeetUp is all about, right?

They were WRONG

Yes, Tuesday Board Games Night becomes a thing!
We'll start gathering at Ladder 15 at 6pm and we can essentially stay as late as we'd like (bar closes at either midnight or 2am, not sure).

In addition to board games and affordable food & drinks, there is also KARAOKE!

note: There will still be Monday Board Games Night at The Bourse, but with changes happening there, I felt it was prudent to add an extra night for us.

This will be a FREE event to attend, and I will bring some board games but I'm also counting on many of you to bring some as well. There are pluses & minuses to every Board Games Night location we've been at, and I am sure Ladder 15 is no exception; however what has drawn me to set us up here on Tuesdays is:

1. better & longer gaming hours for us
2. better & more regular food menu (affordably priced) plus a full bar for the drinkers in our group
3. terrific Center City location on the 1500 block of Sansom Street
4. last but not least, friendly staff that is welcoming & wanting to be understanding to the needs of our group

Wow, I'm excited & hope you are too! Yes its a free event, but please RSVP so we know to expect you for the 1st Night. And if you are bringing board games, you are welcome to mention it in the Comments below.
