Can Capitalism and the Climate be Reconciled?

At this Philosophy Matters event, Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and author of 21 books, Hans A. Baer, will argue that we need an alternative economic system if we want to address the problem of climate change. Democratic eco-socialism, he argues, is the answer. But is he right?
