The Phoenix DevOps Meetup is dedicated to the community of technology professionals building, deploying, and operating software systems of all sizes and platforms.

Join us to learn from your peers in the community and share your knowledge!

Tech professionals of all skill and experience levels are encouraged to attend, especially those starting down the path of DevOps.

Meetup presentations will generally:

• provide an introduction to the principles of a DevOps practice

• some specifics of how one might apply that with a one or more toolsets

• foster a conversation on the topic

Learn about GitOps for Kubernetes and how to deploy one or many applications to multiple Kubernetes clusters easily with Argo CD ApplicationSet and OpenShift GitOps!

As scaling needs grow, you have to deploy your application to more than one Kubernetes cluster. How about deploying multiple applications across multiple clusters?

At this meetup, you'll learn about Argo CD and one of its sub-project ApplicationSet to manage deployments of a large number of applications, repositories, or clusters, all from a single Kubernetes resource. The talk will cover:

• Challenges of managing manifest files for each cluster
• How to deploy to many clusters with the ApplicationSet resource
• Demo deploying applications using Argo CD, ApplicationSet, and OpenShift GitOps
• Chat & open discussion

Dewan is a Developer Advocate at Red Hat focused on cloud-native projects. Before starting at Red Hat, he worked at IBM for six years as a developer, QA lead, consultant, and developer advocate.
