TCP/IP Networking & Simple Ways to Start Using Docker

Details
The January meetup will join the Phoenix DevOps and Docker communities in one meetup - prepare to meet new people and mix it up!
We will have two topics that should be of interest to both communities:
Intro to TCP/IP Networking by Jonathan Lowsley
Do you remember how an IP address really works? Networking is a fundamental part of systems design as well as software architecture, but in a landscape with specialized network admin teams and Software Defined Networking, it's easy to lose sight of how it all fits together. This talk aims to review the basics, and cover some intermediate concepts with Q&A and some demos. Whether you are in a windowless basement tweaking your BGP route-maps or just want to brush up on some fundamentals, there will be something for you.
Simple Ways to Start Using Docker
Stephen Kuenzli will lead a discussion focused on simple, bottoms-up approaches to start using Docker from dev to production and local to shared environments. Please come ready to share how you have been able to get traction in your own environment as well as your challenges!
Logistics:
We'll open the doors around 6 and presentations will start at 6:30. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
