What we’re about
The Phoenix Linux Users Group (PLUG) is Arizona's oldest and largest group devoted to Linux, Free and Open Source software and hardware in Phoenix, Arizona, USA area. We hold several meetings a month ranging from formal presentations to installfests dedicated to helping people install Linux on their machines to informal conversation meetings we call a Stammtisch.
We talk about the state of Linux, what we've recently done with Linux, share problems and create solutions. No knowledge of Linux is presumed or required, although most members are running Linux in some application. PLUG membership is no cost and open to anyone. We also welcome users and fans of all Free Software and Open Source Software such as GNU and BSD.

We are always happy to see additional volunteers.

The virtual Free Software Stammtisch is a social environment for GNU, Linux, *BSD and other Free Software enthusiasts. We start at 19:00 Arizona time (GMT-7). Feel free to invite friends and family to participate.
We host quarterly ( Januaries, Aprils, Julys and Octobers ) jobs night events before Stammtisch starting at 18:00.
The Free Software Stammtisch will be a virtual event at least through the end of Summer 2020. Though virtual, it's a dinner event, so consider ordering in from a locally own restaurant.
Currently we're using a hosted Big Blue Button instance.

Please come and join us for some good conversation over good food and drinks (which are both optional)... Friends and family are all welcome.
Come meet your fellow PLUGers and see where the conversation leads this time, it doesn't just stick exclusively with Linux. Us Linux geeks are interested in all sorts of things, so the conversation always leads to a good time.
See you there...
