NOTE: This is at a new location in Tempe and the beginning of regular monthly meetings.
Austin Godber will be doing a demonstration of how he uses IPython for data analysis tasks. IPython has multiple components. First it provides an advanced command line python REPL replacement. IPython also has a useful web based notebook interface that is well suited for interactive data analysis and visualization. Both of these features will be addressed with focus being on the web notebook component.
Trevor will begin our series of Python 3.4 PEP talks by talking about PEP 428 (http://legacy.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0428/) (pathlib). The series will include other short talks introducing the other changes implemented in the Python 3.4.0 release (https://www.python.org/download/releases/3.4.0/). We are looking for volunteers to help work through this series of presentations.
