DesertPy - JWTs with Python and Show and Tell

Details
Happy New Year DesertPy!
This month we will meet virtually and will hear a talk on using JWTs and what ever other things you all bring for show and tell.
JWTs - what Python developers need to know (by Dan Moore)
What is a JSON Web Token (JWT) and why do you care? JWTs are a stateless, standardized way to represent user data. This talk will discuss why JWTs matter and the nuts and bolts of JWTs. We’ll also discuss how you might use a JWT in your application and how to avoid certain common mistakes.
Bio - Dan Moore is head of developer relations for FusionAuth. He’s been using python off and on since the 2000s. A former CTO, engineering manager and longtime developer, he's been writing software for (checks watch) over 20 years.
Also!
I'm looking for a few others to bring a brief topic/code/example to share too. It can be code you've recently written or an example of using a standard or third party library. We have members at all levels so anything newbie to complex would work too! So don't be shy: Show up! Show code!
NOTE: This will be a virtual meeting using zoom. The meeting URL will be shared with those who RSVP yes. The meeting will start at 7:00PM, but the zoom will open at 6:30PM for those who want to chat first. I'll call the meeting to order at 7.
See you all soon!
- Austin
