Michael has led engineering teams at several San Francisco companies including Path and Twitter, and is the primary author of many open source JavaScript libraries including mustache.js and React Router. He has a passion for building clean, well-designed systems that improve people’s lives and sharing what he learns along the way with others.
Location: Galvanize in Phoenix. Please be advised there is a security process for entrance so you'll want to show up a few minutes earlier than you otherwise would. Head to the very back of the facility to the large classrooms. You can ask at the front desk about the React meetup and someone will tell you how to get back.

6:50 - Announcements including job positions and job seekers
7:00 - Presentation: Never Write Another HOC
Have a job to fill or looking for a job?: to shorten the announcements portion of the meeting, we're going to show a slide or slides during the meet-n-greet portion of the meeting. The slide will have job announcements along with faces of who supplied the announcement, so that you can find that person and chat with them about the job. Just make sure you get the text and picture to Ty by lunch on the day of the meetup. Email it to me at phoenixreactjs_jobs@tylercollier.com . Your advertisement should be an image with your picture and text with dimensions 768x392, and I'll put it on a quarter of a slide, like this:
