TABLE READ TUESDAYS

TABLE READ TUESDAYS ARE BACK. You read it right, the table reads are back on.

In Stephanie's summer absence, we will continue table reads at a new location through August.

Bring 10 to 15pages  of the script to be read.  Try to bring 6 to 8 copies of these pages to hand out to others.

You may purchase soda or wine at the bar and bring it into the table read.

This table read is open to all members of Phoenix Screenwriters Association.

I will be out of town this coming weekend and I am pretty sure to make it up at the next meeting. I am excited to meet my peers

I'll be out of town for this one, but will try for the 20th. I got the books that Stephanie recommended and have started the revisions to my script. We'll see how it goes :/

Share your screenplay with other aspiring screenwriters. Come to the August table reads on Tuesday, August 6 and Tuesday, August 20.

Ultimately, the audience - or lack of an audience - measures the success or failure of both the movie and screenplay. Get outside of your head and receive constructive feedback on your screenplay from an audience of aspiring screenwriters. I believe it is the most commonsense approach to improve my writing and to strengthen my screenplay structure. I find a new perspective to my screenplay at every table read. It's just as enlightening to share perspectives and strategies on dozens of topics such as character motivation, plot, conflict, etc.
