What we're about

What we're about

The mission of this Meetup group is to give central Texas photographers places to meet, socialize and collaborate with fellow shutterbugs. We are an active hands-on photography group for all levels of photographers from novice to expert.

We offer our members a wide range of photography related events including photo shoots at various locations, seminars, classes, educational shoots, discounts to events and networking opportunities with other photographers and a chance to just get out and have fun taking photographs.

We welcome all photographers from beginner to professional and seek to provide an environment that is friendly, professional and enriching for all. We encourage and actively seek out the input of our members to ensure that the group provides the activities that are both beneficial and enjoyable to a wide range of participating photographers. We encourage you to post your photography so all can share. All Members are always encouraged to provide ideas and even host an event if they wish. We also suggest bringing a $1-$2 donation to each event to help us fund this site and its activities. Thank you in advance.

Grand Tetons Bears & Babies Session 1

Jackson Hole

see https://www.rdykstraphoto.com/bears-babies

SOLD OUT. Contact me about a waitlist

Come join me for this wonderful opportunity to photograph some of most amazing and cutest animals to be found. The Grand Tetons are a hot bed for wildlife photography. Not to mention, some of the best landscape scenes in America. We will concentrate on wildlife, but there are several other wonderful locations such as the Ansel Adams made famous Snake river location and Oxbow bend. Bears will be the highlight and in 2020 we encountered over two dozen different bears. But there is other wildlife such as moose, bison, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, elk, coyotes, and birds of all sorts. BTW, the sunrises and sunsets are amazing!

In addition, I will hold sessions to teach you how to best use your camera to capture amazing photos of these animals. Imagine the “Wall hanging images” you will come home with, not to mention the memories and new friends. There is a fee for this event, and no transportation nor lodging provided.
