It’s Here! The Nikon Hands-on Flash Seminar is HERE! By Popular demand we have brought to Bel Air Camera the seminar where YOU get to make the pictures. This hands-on workshop is aimed at Nikon owners who are getting started with wireless flash.

We will send a few short minutes making sure that you are up to speed on how to set your Nikon camera and Speedlight to do wireless flash. We show you the buttons and menu setting to get you going.

Then we get going! We will offer you several unique hands-on flash shooting stations to practice your wireless flash shooting skills.

Participants will need to bring their own NIKON camera and lens set-up ready to make images. Nikon will provide all the flashes necessary for this event. Due to the technology used by the other manufacturers, non-Nikon cameras will not function properly for this workshop.

We recommend the following cameras for this workshop: D80, D90, D7000, D200, D300, D300s, D600, D700, D800, D800e as all these cameras have the wireless commander system built-in.

Lens recommendation: a moderate telephoto (80mm through 135mm) that will focus closer than about 5 feet. Nikkor Micro Lenses will be suitable for many of the stations. Other lenses may be used with varying degrees of results.

Note to owners of D40/D40x/D60/D70/D70s/D3000/D3100/D3200/D5000/D5100/D5200/D3/D3s/D3x/D4: You may participate in this workshop but you will need to provide an additional item to trigger the different groups of Nikon flashes wirelessly. The only recommended triggers for your cameras are: SB-700, SB-800 or SB-900 or SB-910 or SU-800.

Because this is a Hands on Workshop with multiple shooting stations, space is limited to 15 people. It it fills up fast, Nikon will offer an afternoon session as well.

Every attendee will receive a $20.00 Bel Air Camera Gift Certificate to help offset the $25.00 Class Fee!

Parking for this event is at the lot on Broxton, two blocks from our store and your first two hours are FREE. No Parking is available in our lot, sorry.
