Friday Night Shoot - Delray Beach

Come meet us all at Old School Square for a walk through beautiful downtown Delray Beach.
We would suggest that you bring a tripod and flash if you would like to experiment with time lapse and fine art techniques.

Think about making ghost images. Freeze frame techniques using your flash. Neon lights.

Old School Square has cordially invited us to meet at the Crest Theater entrance. The entrance is approximately one block north of Atlantic Ave. on Swinton. Free parking is available across the street from the Crest Theater next to Docs or you can park in the public parking garage ($5 Friday nights) around the corner on 1st St. and 1st Ave.

Jack has kindly provided a paper with some suggestions and hints on night photography that can be accessed in the Files section listed under More in the menu bar for the site.

All registered participants are encouraged to submit a maximum of two images taken during the evening for judging by a qualified panel. Please submit your images no later than Oct. 8. Images will be considered, and winner notified by Oct.12. One lucky winner will receive a gift certificate to Tryst Restaurant on Atlantic Avenue. Good luck!
NOTE: Pictures must be taken in the area of the scheduled Meetup in order to be eligible. Should you not be able to make the Meetup due to illness or schedule conflicts may submit pictures based on the theme of the Meetup taken within the following week.
