Portraiture using Hot Lights

Details

This 2 ½ hour workshop is about using hot lights to get dramatic portraits. The session begins with an overview of the 5 basic portrait lighting patterns and quickly moves on to hands-on use of many types of tungsten lights, often called ‘hot lights’.

Both professional and inexpensive ‘hardware store’ lights will be demonstrated so you’ll get a good understanding of what equipment is needed for basic and advanced portraiture. Bring your camera and tripod, because you’ll be shooting! By the end of this workshop you’ll know how to quickly set up your camera and lights for several types of shots.

Fee: $35. Includes an instructional CD. Email me to reserve a spot. Advanced payment by check or PayPal will be required. Limited to 10 students.
