Here are the details:
We will go to Gent - Ghent - Gand (it's all the same ;) - our walk will start at
14:00. Meeting point is the Korenmarkt / St Niklaas Church in the centre of Ghent.
Here is a map of the location http://goo.gl/maps/U5T61 (http://goo.gl/maps/U5T61)
We will have a nice walk through the beautiful city with the lovely places and lots to see. And - we will try also try some of the local specialities.
There will be many, many opportunities for great shots. Of course, as we go along, there will be time to ask questions and share knowledge!
How to get there
The easiest way from Brussels is by Train. The return ticket (weekend ticket) is around 9€ but for those who go by car - probably you can give someone a lift. Use the message board.
For those coming from Brussels by train, there are two trains per hour to Ghent. We will meet at 12:00 in front of Starbucks at Brussels Central.
We will take the train IC1533 Direction Knokke at 12:21, Platform 2. Arrival in Ghent will be at 12:57. From the Station to Korenmarkt is a 2km walk (just follow the rails of tram 1) or a ride with Tram 1 until stop Korenmarkt (at the Station, there is only Tram 4 and Final of Tram 1 - quite easy)

Some nice information about Ghent is on this use-it map:
Sometimes there are long lines at the ticket counters at Gare Central, consider to get your (weekend) ticket from the web-site.
As Daniel mentioned, there is Saint Patricks's day on Sunday! We will see a lot of green!
See you all in Ghent!
