Announcing a new Meetup for Photography Workshops!

What: One shot deal. - photo-shoot Boston's North-End

When: Friday, July 2,[masked]:00 AM

Price: $30.00 per person

Where:
Starbucks
2 Atlantic Ave Boston (jct with Commercial Street)
Boston, MA 02110

Photography begins and ends with vision, your vision as a photographer and the vision of the viewer who sees the final image. ?The strength of a photographer rests in the ability to make the viewer experience and share the same powerful "vision" and emotional connection which moved her to take the shot.

While there are many techniques and pieces of equipment which enable us to translate our vision into a presentable image, these alone do not guarantee success, indeed too much reliance on equipment and technical niceties often have the opposite effect by getting in the way of our passion and emotional connection with a potential image.

This intimate workshop will pare down your equipment, it will releive you of the technical burden of tweaking those settings and instead will free your vision and open ?your senses to the opportunities that are waiting to move your photographic passion.

During this three hour workshop we will break our habit of pointing and shooting we Will spend a considerable amount of time with our cameras firmly packed away in our backpacks while we Study and connect with our subject. We will limit ourselves to perhaps just two or three photographs. But each photograph we take will have come from the special place deep inside our creative psyches where great photographs are incubated.?

This meetup will run from 9am to 12 noon -

Note for previous meetup attendees on our afternoon North End shoots - the morning light will give a totally different feel to the alleyways and doorways.
