This Meetup group is for you if you already practice or plan to start practicing any individual or group sports disciplines that require technical skills as well as physical preparation. We assume that you learn the technique with your coach so we’re going to focus on physical and fitness element. We are a bunch of personal trainers who organize group physical training sessions for specific sports to enhance your peak performance.
Physical fitness preparation for one sport is not exactly the same as for another. That’s why different sessions will focus on different sport categories where we will work on specific fitness elements for that particular sport.
Sports included: tennis, padel, squash, all racquet sports, volleyball, basketball, football, cycling, climbing, swimming, martial arts, boxing, surfing, windsurfing, diving, kayak. We will be adding more sports as we grow.
Some group training sessions will be limited to only a few people so that each participant gets as much attention from the trainer as they need. Other sessions might be bigger so you also see a lot of new faces. All in all it’s an excellent opportunity to meet buddies who practice the same sport as you! This Meetup group is for: - amateur athletes who want to get in a better physical shape to improve general performance - beginners in a new sport who want to learn about specific physical training for their new sport - semi-professional athletes who want to prepare for the physical demands of competition All skill levels for your sport are welcome.
Most of the sessions are outdoors although we will sometimes organize sessions indoor for specific sports. Outdoor places may include parks, playing grounds, sports fields, beach, sea, etc.
