What we're about

This group is meant for physics enthusiasts to meet every two weeks to discuss a recent scientific article in any area of physics. The topics cover a wide range of research areas and we hope that it will be of use to anyone who is a part of it.

The meetings will follow the traditional Journal Club format in which a group member presents a recent physics article. It is suggested, however, to start the presentation with a simple introduction to the field and a review of some of the advances that preceded the publishing of the paper. This should provide the audience with the context of the problem being addressed in the paper. After the presentation, the paper will be discussed between the group members.

If you are interested, please make a request to join the group.
