It's hard to make new friends over 55. I created this group so that people will not have to do things alone. Various interests and activities. Movies, Board Games, Hikes, theater, Coffee houses
If you want to organize events, please let me know and I will give you permission to add to the calendar. The more ideas we have the more fun we will have.

Social Walk - Mt. Tom: Visitor Center - (2-hrs)
Mt. Tom Visitor Center, 125 Reservation Rd., Holyoke, MA, USThis is a social walk, our pace will be a bit slower than normal.
- We will be walking on a discontinue road towards the Eyre House ruins.
- Breathtaking view of the valley below.
- Autumn Colors
- Peace of Mind.
Limit of 10. Waitlist priority: attendance record, gold medal. If you have 3-consecutive "no-shows" unfortunately won't be able to attend without first private messaging the host first.
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Start Time: 11 am sharp
- Distance: Approx. 3 miles
- Trail Type: pavement - unmaintained
- Location: 192 Reservation Rd Holyoke, MA
- Parking is FREE: Daily parking fees May 24 through October 13
- Special note: If you have never been to the visitor center before please follow the driving instructions provided below.
Warning: DO NOT try to enter the park via East Street.
Driving Instructions:
There are two ways to enter the park:
1st: via rt 5 (Northampton Street) - recommended
2nd: Christopher Clark Rd - not sure if gate is open
Any other attempt will result in failure!
Mt. Tom main entrance:
Please enter the park via the rt 5 - Northampton Street entrance.
Follow Reservation Road all the way to the top. It is approximately 1.9 miles or a 6 minute drive to the top.How to get to the main Mt. Tom entrance from where ever you are traveling from:
