What we're about

The Pirates of Tampa Bay SOLIDWORKS User Group (POT-SWUG) is a not-for-profit organization formed by users; beginners through Certified Professionals, involved with the operation, implementation and use of the 3D design software SOLIDWORKS.

Our intention is to provide an open forum that is guided by the users involved for their own education and advancement revolving around the use of SOLIDWORKS in the professional environment. This can take the form of presenting topics, submittal of information for discussion or participating in the user group meetings. We encourage any and all user participation that helps shape and grow the group to fit the needs of the community. Our meetings are held on week nights and generally run from 5:30pm - 9:00pm. Dinner and refreshments are provided at every meeting. Meetings are open to SOLIDWORKS customers, prospective customers, engineering students and people interested in CAD design. All meetings and membership in the group are free.
