We are a 501c3 organization that provides under-represented entrepreneurs with the essential business development support, and "technical" training and services, in order to contribute to the development of entrepreneurial projects and ventures.

We exist to invest in the people and ideas that will improve urban communities, by empowering entrepreneurs to use their personal skills and creativity, to not simply earn a buck, but to strive to make a difference in their world.

Our hope is that our work will result in positive social and economic development in urban communities around the world, because we educate and develop entrepreneurs to use their personal skills and creativity, not to just make a buck, but strive to make a difference in their world.

"Practice Yo Pitch" Workshop Series

Have you been selected to pitch your business, in an upcoming Pitch competition? Are you looking for an intimate setting to practice your Pitch? OR Do you need help with crafting your business pitch? We have launched a "Practice Yo Pitch" workshop series for entrepreneurs who need assistance, developing their pitch! Whether it's a solo-entrepreneur or a team developing their message, we've designed "Practice Yo Pitch" as an intimate workshop aiming to help individuals put together and practice their winning Pitch! This is a 2 part workshop. Workshop #1: will outline answering the fundamental questions of a #pitchdeck, and then practicing your pitch in an intimate setting with other #entrepreneurs. (The 1st workshop is at the Stutz Building) Workshop #2: is focused on providing another intimate setting where previous workshop attendees will be allowed to present their revised pitch, for the purposes of input and feedback. This workshop is limited to 7 businesses per workshop. Workshop fee is $30.00. It includes both workshops dinner. Ivy Venture "Shark Tank" Event

The PitchFeast crowdfunding dinner is an innovative fundraising program for small businesses, under-represented entrepreneurs and creatives. It is a community meal in which a ticket gives you not only food and fellowship, but also the opportunity to FUNdraise for a creative, Indianapolis idea. PitchFeast welcomes all kind of creative types for a unique crowd-sourcing competition that leverages the power of the community to fund innovative ideas. Attendees pay a nominal entry fee and that fee provides them with dinner, beverages and one vote. Guests then hear the innovative ideas of locally based entrepreneurs. Each entrepreneur is given 3-5 minutes to pitch their ideas and concepts to an audience who will then vote for the one they like the most. Public PitchFeast Event

PitchFeast is a crowdfunding dinner, which serves as an innovative fundraising program for small businesses, under-represented entrepreneurs and creatives. Attendees pay a nominal entry fee and that fee provides them with dinner, beverages and one vote. They then hear the innovative idea of locally based entrepreneurs. Each entrepreneur is given 3-5 minutes to pitch their ideas and concept to the audience, who in turn votes for the idea they like the most. The winner of PitchFeast collects 75% of tickets the sales, that can be used as start up capital. They also are provided with business resources and support, to help them get through their first year. The June event is a public event and we are accepting proposals from individuals who want a chance to pitch!
