This is the first meetup for the Pittsburgh C++ group! Meetups will be held on the first Thursday of every month and will last about two hours. The first hour will consist of either, a presentation, a series of lightning talks, or a discussion on upcoming C++ proposals. The second hour will be left open to eat, drink, and talk shop!
The first meetup will be held at Serendipity Labs, a co-working space in the Strip District. The menu for the night will consist of pizza, beer, and other refreshments.
Just to get things started off I'll give an extended version of my recent CPPCon talk "Minimal Structured Logging for Autonomous Vehicles". The talk will go through the design of an efficient debug logging system capable of generating both human readable strings and structured output that is friendly to tooling.
I look forward to seeing you all there!
