PghQA: Frenemies - QA and BA

Hosted By

Details
Description: In theory, software business analysts and quality assurance folks often work at opposite ends of the sausage maker. BA focuses on requirements gathering; QA ensures that the requirements are met. Does this mean that BA has no role in software quality, and QA has no role in requirements analysis? Hardly! In practice, these roles are more fluid, and often overlap. Join IIBA and PghQA for a panel discussion of the dynamic, evolving roles that BA and QA play
Our Panelists:
• Brian Hall, CSM
Engineering Manager, UPMC Enterprises
• Dan Russell, MBA
Software Product Manager, DermatologistOnCall
• James Huber, CBAP, PMP
Vice President, Business Systems Analyst; PNC
Getting to the event
- please use the Bakery Square entrance closest to Social. We will have someone at the door to guide you to the meeting room. Please park in the garage. It's free for three-hours. (The "surface lot" is for one-hour or less and for visitors to the "retail" tenants.) As mentioned above, please walk around to the plaza entrance next to Social. Someone will be there to greet you. See you there! :)
