Are you a developer who has been eager to learn how to code on Ethereum in Solidity? Great! This particular MeetUp will be a repeating series where we will code together and learn the basics of creating a "dapp" (decentralized application). We'll do everything from creating simple contracts, to deploying contracts, to using various platforms and frameworks that make it easy to create projects on the Ethereum Virtual Machine.

At our first Solidity Meetup, we will learn the basic components of the Solidity language and how to code a simple "Hello World!" smart contract. We will go over how the Solidity Remix IDE works in the browser as well as the common data types and functions found in this dynamic language.

Please come with a laptop as this will be a "code-a-long" meetup!
