This is our monthly discussion group at Tan Lac Vien in Squirrel Hill. We meet on the second floor, and they have delicious (optional) food and drinks for anyone who wants to eat. This month's topic is Pope Francis! People seem to have divided opinions about him, about his actions, and about his motivations. Can he succeed in reviving the Catholic Church? Is he an ally to secularists? Here's an article that summarizes some of his recent actions to get the conversation started:
No clear ‘Pope Francis effect’ among U.S. Catholics (http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2013/11/25/no-clear-pope-francis-effect-among-u-s-catholics/)
