First Pittsburgh SOC Meetup

Hello Pittsburgh Catan players,

Wow. I'm really excited about the response to the group and first meetup. Welcome to the group! I look forward to meeting all of you.

Originally I set the meetup limit to 4, but due to demand I've now set it to allow unlimited participants. Please note that I only have 1 copy of Settlers and 1 copy of the card game version (2 player), so I can accommodate up to 6 people. So, if you have a copy of Catan or another game you think would be interesting, please bring it.

Regarding the venue of our first meetup. I'm going to call Coffee Tree tomorrow and confirm that we can reserve their meeting room. I probably should have done this sooner, but, again, I didn't anticipate this kind of response. If for some reason they can't accommodate us, there is a Panera close by on Centre Ave (near the Shadyside Market District Giant Eagle) that might work. It's a large place and I can't imagine they would mind a group of people coming to hang out for a while (provided everyone buys at least a coffee or something). I will keep you posted if the meetup location changes.

Thanks again for joining.
