11:10 Informatica Partner presentation - Cloudera “Extending Data Lineage and Metadata Management into Hadoop”, Bob Galata (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/bob-galata/4/931/a30), Sr. Strategic Manager, Cloudera (http://cloudera.com) and Derek Kane (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/derek-kane/0/655/13a), Systems Engineer, Cloudera (http://cloudera.com/). Bob has been with Cloudera for 2 years and is based in Pittsburgh. He has an extensive background in advanced analytics and business intelligence through his experience at IBM/Cognos and Qlik Technologies. Bob focuses on helping customers maximize value from all of their data assets. Derek has spent the last 20 years building solutions with data. The last ten years he was with JP Morgan where he was a Lead Architect. As a part of the JP Morgan Innovation team, Derek led the creation of Big Data solutions for an organization that managed $2 trillion in assets. He has also built out multiple Centers of Excellence covering Business Intelligence and Data Visualization. He is a patent holder for an application that manages Total Cost of Ownership of technology solutions.
