Legal Pathways to Starting your Business
This event is free and open to the public. Global Entrepreneurship Week is happening November 12-18. Pittsburgh is a very attractive place for immigrants and foreign nationals to live and set up a business. Navigating the pathways to start a business while learning about employment based immigrant visas and non-immigrant work visas can be challenging. While every case is unique, there are basic requirements which can help immigrants and foreign nationals determine which pathways are open to them. Join us during the celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week, as guest speaker Attorney Abbie Alejandro Rosario explains some of the basics of starting a business locally as an immigrant or foreign national. Guest Speaker: Abbie Alejandro Rosario is the managing attorney of Rosario Law, which specializes in immigration and business services in Pittsburgh, PA. Having began his career in immigration law in 2008, he is experienced working with clients to understand and meet filing requirements for employment based immigration visas and all family based immigration including inadmissibility waivers, representing and advising entrepreneurs and business owners regarding business formation documentation, purchase agreements, and operating agreements, and speaking in events locally to educate the public on immigration related matters.
