When jQuery Attacks!
Hosted by Pittsburgh JavaScript Developers
Details
Since the DOM is one of the most atrocious crimes ever committed against technology, some really smart people came up with a way to use JavaScript to easily manipulate the DOM and make it much easier to create rich, interactive web pages. It's called jQuery.
jQuery is all the rage these days - deservedly so - and this meeting will be a rapid-fire presentation of all of the wizardry you can perform with the tool as an RIA developer. This would also be a great opportunity for anyone who has done jQuery development, and would like to show off his/her work, to either give a demo, or provide links to their work for review during the meeting.
One more note since it was an issue the last couple of meetings. When you come to Smith Micro, make sure you use the south entrance (i.e. drive around to the other side of the building once you pull into the campus).
Pizza will be provided for the meeting, and anyone interested can join us afterwards at the Fox & Hound English Pub for a few pints.
