What we're about

We are a group of Power BI users and enthusiasts, looking to connect with others to have interesting discussions and exchange ideas. All are welcome, from beginners to experts. We will meet monthly to go over what's new in Power BI and share experiences and ideas.

What is Power BI? It's a new cloud-based business analytics service from Microsoft that enables anyone to visualize and analyze data with greater speed, efficiency, and understanding. It has the ability to pull and combine data from many different sources, modify and transform the data, and visualize it with standard and custom graphics.

For more information and a quick guide to getting started, see the FAQ from Microsoft (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-frequently-asked-questions/). You can also join the Power BI Community (http://community.powerbi.com/) to find resources for learning as well as join in discussions and have your voice heard.

Please also join our official Power BI User group, which can be found here: https://www.pbiusergroup.com/communities/community-home?CommunityKey=e39dc466-de6e-469a-90de-add8f6f32d3c

Please let us know if you have something specific you'd like to hear about, or if you would like to present at one of our meetings.
