ASPCA and Pennsylvania Equine Rescue and Retirement Foundation will be celebrating national Help A Horse Day and competing for a chance to win grant prizes to assist with their efforts to protect horses.

A fundraiser will be held at Painting with a Twist in Wexford on April 26th at 7pm. PERRF's rescue program focuses on abused and neglected horses with emphasis on those bound for slaughter. Proceeds from the event will go towards construction of an all-weather shelter for rescue horses. $35 includes materials and donation.
