Intro to Bonsai Workshop! Bellvue!

ART OF BONSAI

Course provides an introduction to bonsai including a brief history of the art, and an overview on how to style, prune, and properly care for your tree. Following the discussions, some participants will receive a pre-bonsai tree in training of their own, and work through a guided workshop to learn the fundamentals of moving a tree from nursery stock to a bonsai training pot. All required materials & tools will be provided, but participants may bring their own scissors, pruners, wire cutters and narrow tip pliers if they wish.

There are two options available:

"Class/Tree Option" - $30
Includes: Intro Class - Discussion/Presentation
Indoor Bonsai Tree/Pot/Soil for Workshop.
The tree is yours to keep. Limit 15 participants with trees!
Current selection of trees includes ficus, Australian bush cherry, dwarf schefflera, mini jade (Portulacaria Afra), Podocarpus, Serissa, and others. Tree selection subject to change without notice.

"Presentation/Observer Option" - $15
Includes: Intro Class - Discussion/Presentation.
You will not receive a tree or other supplies but you are free to observe the presentation and ask questions during workshop.
